I have now tried out this lens intensively for 2 days. Here is a short report on my experience. The 10mm fisheye lens for my NIKON D7100 with APS-C sensor has an angle of view of 180°, which is exactly what I was looking for. There are even more extreme angles. With a closest focusing distance of 1.8cm, fun photos succeed. Photographing interior views and landscapes becomes quite easy. HSM offers silent autofocus. You could even focus manually, but this is rarely necessary. The fisheye comes with a fixed, tulip-shaped lens hood. You also get a metal lens cap, which is very easy to slip over the lens, but still fits tightly. I leave it on during transport and with a quick pull the lens is ready for use. No turning or fingering necessary. Very well solved by Sigma. Otherwise I protect the lenses of my lenses with an additional UV filter, which of course is not possible due to the lens design of the fisheye. Furthermore, a sleeve is included as well as a metal plate with which one could cut gel filters to size. The cut filter is not attached to the outside of the lens, but after being cut to size on the fisheye between the camera body and the fisheye. But I have not tried any filters. I could not create any reflections or ghost images, which indicates that the coating is very good. Furthermore, the autofocus on my D7100 worked very quickly, so that I was able to take freehand shots of animals without looking through the viewfinder. The photos taken are of very good quality. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the lens and give it 5 out of 5 stars!
