    Good headphones but break quickly

    The headphones are good, but the biggest problem, as with most Sennheiser in-ears, is that the cable quality is simply lousy. After only 3 weeks, I already had a tear in the insulation. Of course, I taped it off so that it wouldn't break right away. And now, 1 month later, the right earpiece no longer works.
    I'm actually a fan of Sennheiser, but I have to say that every single pair of Sennheiser in-ear headphones I've owned has had a cable break or something similar sooner or later (maximum 8 months).
    They are also very susceptible to losing the earplugs.     

    Pro

    • Good sound
    • Wearing comfort is good (wear them 10h a day)

    Contra

    • Quality of the cable (after 3-4 weeks a crack in the insulation)
    • Earplugs can fall off quickly

    Sennheiser again and again

    Very satisfied. Sound according to Sennheiser and in-ear. Much better than the ones supplied by Apple.

    Solid earbuds

    Frequency response could be a little more linear; bass strongly accentuated, but mids rather restrained. Since the (metal) sound channel is only closed with foam, which sits a little further inside, earwax tends to collect at the end, which is somewhat awkward to remove.
