It has far exceeded my expectations and I really recommend it to any gamer who places great value on optimal sound!

Wow! That was my first impression after connecting my Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro to the GSX 120Pro and playing Player Unknonw's Battleground for the first time. The virtual sound is absolutely amazing! Operation is absolutely simple and stylish via touchscreen and LED. Plug it in and you're done, the driver installs automatically and there's no need for additional software, as everything can be adjusted via the GSX itself. The workmanship is as with all Sennheiser products 1A flawless and high quality. Visually, the part is very great, it looks ingenious and thanks to the automatic dimming function, but it also does not stand out too much. You can save your settings simply 4 times different.

Through the 3 synthesizers (gaming, music, film), the GSX 1200Pro is ideally suited for all situations.

Gaming: Of course on the 7.1 setting. The highs are extreme and the lows are very muffled and muffled, which simplifies the localization of sounds enormously and you can really pinpoint where the steps and shots etc. come from.

Music: Stereo setting. A very balanced synthesizer, with the lows pushed a bit and a really dreamy soundscape. Whether orchestra or metal, the GSX 1200Pro gets the last bit of sound out of the piece of music.

Movie: 7.1 setting. The bass is pushed a bit more in the movie than in the music and the treble is also adjusted. The voices are crystal clear and the action scenes are absolutely thrilling.

I recommend playing open world games (e.g. The Witcher 3) without a synthesizer and using the open world setting. The atmosphere is just awesome.

Finally: I find it absolutely ingenious that it is possible via the GSX 1200Pro to have 7.1 for the game and stereo for communication at the same time. This means that the voices of the players can be heard perfectly and it doesn't sound so weird.

A lot of money for good sound

At first I didn't hear any difference when switching from 2.0 to 7.1. Then I made the following settings and was thrilled.

Expensive and extremely poor sound with Sennheiser headsets.

That was unfortunately nothing. Because my dream team Turtle Beach headset Ear Force Elite Pro with Elite Pro TAC unfortunately the bracket of the headset is broken, I was looking for a valid replacement. Unfortunately, the Sennheiser replacement, while even slightly more expensive than the Elite Pro TAC, simply doesn't have a stitch and sounds really dull and lacking in power. Stereo setting 2.0 does have a bit more juice, but in return you almost can't hear ambient noise in games. And with the 7.1 setting, you can hear the ambient noise, but the sound is bland that the gaming fun is gone. The only plus of this device is the great design.

I need to update my kiritk after all I bought a Turtle Beach headset again, this time with steel bracket hoping it won't break anymore, Elite Atlas model. Lo and behold. With this headset, the external Sennheiser amplifier is really usable and actually sounds very good in stereo setting. So I have adjusted my rating upwards. But it remains that in combination with the Sennheiser headset GSP 600 the thing is unusable.
