  6 years without use - then loss of all data

  6 years without use - then loss of all data. Seems to be a Western Digital internally, the worst brand there is among hard drive brands. WD bought Seagate years ago, unfortunately. Then the world's number one Seagate quality brand went downhill. Today you don't know which Seagate products are actually WD internally. Only when they break internally very quickly, then you know it .... all very sad. more
