I've only had the watch for two days, but so far I'm just thrilled with it! It has a very high-quality finish and looks great. The watch is big and quite heavy, maybe even too big for petite wrists. I can't say much about the operating system and battery performance after two days. But after a day of heavy use with Always-On Display activated, the battery still had 50% at midnight.

A beautiful watch...
But I have no idea what Samsung was thinking with the apps... You don't install anything via the PlayStore but via Samsung's own store. You have to pay for almost every app yourself and can't pay with Google Play credit.
The best thing is... There is a calculator app from Samsung itself that can't even calculate.... Any result over 10 is = nan
If I had known about the app thing, I would have thought twice about buying it....
Oh, and the people who have made friends with the Google voice assistant... They don't exist. Only the one from Samsung that can't do anything anyway...

Design a 4, the watch is really beautifully made, but it should be a little smaller. But it looks really attractive.
The performance meets my expectations, a little more memory would be appropriate.
The workmanship is impeccable, high quality. The charging station is also great. Put it on and the watch holds magnetically. It charges really quickly.
The voice assistant can be set to German, but it's no use, it doesn't understand anything. I think Samsung needs to work on that. However, the German answers are surprisingly well articulated. I still have to test English in more depth.
I connected the watch to my Huawei P9 and everything works perfectly. Making calls with the watch works surprisingly well. One is tempted to address Scotti :-)
All in all, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Picture quality can't be rated, of course, because it doesn't have a camera. Once you've pressed the star, you can't delete it.
My wife would too, if the watch were less clunky. Although she uses an iPhone, she doesn't like the Apple Watch at all.
Addendum 1: The watch is no good as a running watch. I wore it today in parallel with my Garmin 235. Distance is completely off, at 9.2 km it shows 10.1 km. Heart rate is much too low, Garmin 160 to Gear 112. In between, the Gear approaches the Garmin readings. GPS lost signal three times, Garmin was always there.
Addendum 2, 30.12.16: The S3 is also next to the Garmin readings on the second attempt. This time less glaring. Over 5 km, however, the difference is still almost 400 m. The difference was less pronounced during the heart rate measurement. As for the battery life, the watch is always on. It lasts for a day, then it has to go to the station.
