    hoped for too much đŸ˜«

I was emailed by Digitec that the buds had arrived live.
That is how I ordered these. I promised myself, after the positive experience with the Libratone Track Air+ and their ANC quality, a similar good result.
    With even
    smaller outer dimensions.

    To the essentials.
The sound and the fit are super in my ears - sports - convertible - motorcycle helmet. It fits and with balaclava, you do not lose it when taking off the helmet.

Paired with a Galaxy Note - that goes quickly, after opening the charging case, without pairing button.

    Installs the Bud app itself.
    Buds can be set vielffÀlltig.

ANC on on and.... no difference to off - in the apartment environment.

Now tested on the bike - properly adjusted and the astonishment was there.

The exhaust sound, the Dröhnfrquenzen were amplified, when stationary.
    Already times crap.

Up to 80 km / h it is then again somewhat less - after that you would rather take out the buds.

Pairing with the BMW Navigator VI - works well.
Disappointing quiet playback of music and announcements.
Not usable - I experience something like this for the first time.

All external BT adapters and oh the Libratone play music and announcements loud enough.
The Buds do not. Big Fail!

Conclusion - ANC not noticeably effective
For sports and normal activities super
Telephoning on the road with good sound
    Navi use - not possible

Where can the allways on micro be deactivated?

    Maybe someone can answer it?

Compared to the Libratone Track Air+:

The Track Air + are the better choice in every way, in terms of sound quality. Under the helmet it is much quieter with the Libratone, probably also design-related.

It's a shame the Buds Live are so loud in terms of wind noise and booming.
    š
Possibly by switching off the AOM controllable.
    But how does that work?

    Pro

    • small
    • stylish
    • good sound

    Contra

    • too high wind noise
    • booming frequencies are amplified
    • AOM cannot be switched off
    • quiet on Navigator VI

    Super sound and comfortable!

I have connected the Buds to various devices and made test calls to my answering machine.

The smartphone seems to have an advantage here, the spoken texts were ok to well understandable on the answering machine.

    The technical
connection worked via PC/notebook, but the spoken text was much quieter and could only be heard fractionally. Mostly understood the spoken text poorly to not at all.

I also connected the buds to my TV (LG OLED, so newer).
Unfortunately, there was about every 3sec a crackle which was very unpleasant. I do not have this with other BT headphones. And the sound jumped from left to right, as if only one channel/time can be operated.... no idea if here the TV or the Buds are the problem.

Together with the app, where a few more settings can be made, the Buds are ok.

    Pro

    • comfortable
    • nice full sound
    • simple control

    Contra

    • a bit too quiet
    • microphone works ok only with cell phone
    • limited control (no volume)
