    Fast in the Raspi

    Since we use various Raspberries for an Escape Room, I test various MicroSD cards. The cards need an average of 24 seconds to restart the Raspi, and the Evo+ is one of the fastest with the SanDisk A1. The write speed is OK at 20 MB/s via the SD adapter.

    On average, 1 to 2 out of 10 of these cards break the first time they are written to. The card then claims that several GB/s were written (for example with the command line tool dd), but nothing actually arrives.

    On the positive side, the other cards have not shown a single failure in half a year.

    (We only use several of these cards, so comparison with others is not possible).
