As expected from Samsung, the SSD 850EVO is absolutely super. The product delivers what it promises and after installation everything works perfectly.
Unfortunately, the software CD with the software Data Migration, Data
Magician is not included with this version. The software can, of course, also be downloaded from the Samsung homepage
(www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/g...). If you have the software, however, it works, as with almost every other SSD from Samsung, also with the 850 EVO MSata. Install the software and clone the installed hard drive with Data Migration. Then convert the hard disk and adapt it to your needs with Data Magician. It's all child's play and easy to handle even for non-professionals like me.

    To recommend without reservation

I upgraded my Surface Pro (2013) with the 1TB SSD, previously 128GB. With a newly installed Win10/64 Pro, the thing runs, a real joy. From pressing the power button to the desktop takes just under 15 seconds. Previously just under 40 seconds, but the SSD was almost full and from an original Windows 8 to 8.1, then to Win10 and countless updates... in short, time for something new. Speaking of new, the battery was also replaced at the same time, runtime with normal use again 5-7 hours, before the exchange, 20 minutes. And because the part was already open, I also had to optimise the cooling. Before, the fans were audible more often and longer, an annoying noise. Now it's completely quiet, even under full load. With a lot of imagination, a slight hissing noise can be heard with the ear directly on the device. How? It's very simple: take the cooler off, clean away the old heat-conducting mud and put liquid metal in between. The stuff is simply ingenious, and my PS4pro now runs completely silently.
