THE mechanical pencil for technicians and engineers (and everyone else too)

I sketch a lot, take notes a lot (despite my IT work), and I have yet to find a mechanical pencil that allows me to work as cleanly and precisely as those from Rotring. Weight distribution, thickness, surface in the grip area, it's simply perfect. Add to that the optimal view of the lead and the precise feeling of writing in motion.

The retractable lead guide is a highlight, just as the finish, tolerances and material quality are absolutely top-notch. Of course, Rotring no longer comes from Europe, but the production in Japan is in no way inferior.

For me, the Rotring is not only a necessary tool, it is inspiring because it feels so good and enables perfect work, whether writing or sketching.

I would recommend anyone who writes or sketches to give it a try. I work with some people who have remained loyal to Rotring mechanical pencils all their lives: for them (and for me) there is nothing better.  more
