Caution: This cable supports 4k/UHD only at 30 Hz, probably due to poor design. A corresponding note in the description would be good.
At 60 Hz, the screen loses signal every second and is unusable.
I assume the cable was only tested by the manufacturer at low resolutions, where it should work without problems.
General tip for 4k/UHD users: don't save on the cable! Cheap cables are brought to their knees at the high data rates that occur at 4k @ 60 Hz, picture distortions are the case, possibly even the screen could be damaged.
I have now bought a Lindy Cromo cable, which works without problems and is much better made.

!! IMPORTANT FOR 4K SCREEN USERS !!!
Don't know if I should have known that, or just missing the info....
With my screen (and I assume this applies to all others) the cable did not work with 4K 60 Hz! Don't know if that had something to do with the cable or if it just can't handle DisplayPort 1.2.
Anyway, with the cable supplied by the manufacturer from the monitor everything ran wonderfully.

Some reviews claim it does not work with 60hz 4k. It is a 1.2 spec displayport so it must do it. If it doesnt, its either defective or its a setting within windows. Mine initially had the 30hz option when first hooked up, but checking windows setting and changing it to native 4k gave me the 60hz 10bit option. Where this differs from more expensive cables is the cable construction. However its quite good for the price.
