    Too complicated. No support from QNAP

    How do you set this up, no help. Complicated instructions and it doesn't work. Manual backup of a single folder with 12000 photos stopped after 3800 and no feedback why and which ones are stuck. Over 60 apps can be loaded. To bring pictures to the NAS it needs 11 Movies do not work then. Each app can then be set with several tabs and departments down to the smallest detail. Only an automatic backup of a folder is not possible. Support answers question: Which app is needed for an automatic backup with: Youtube QNAP UK?! Connection with the mobile phone worked after a lot of fiddling. Important to install min 6 app to need photos, movie, MP3. Username-email-password and then another SMS with the code. This works with every app, mobile phone, tablet.

    For me, fingers off Qnap.

    Elegant quiet NAS

    I don't care about cheap plastic if it works. I put the NAS in a protected place so that nothing happens to it mechanically.
