    Almost optimal, if it weren't for the thing with the HDMI version

    Indeed, one of the best players, if not the best. Although it has fewer functions than the Android competition, the hardware is of a very high quality, equipped with the best components and the software is sophisticated. If you only want to enjoy content and not play games, you have everything you need. The only disadvantage is that it only has HDMI 1.4, which means that in 4k mode you can only achieve a maximum of 30 fps and the video is jerky. If you have a 4k TV with HDMI 2.0 and corresponding film material, you have to look elsewhere or wait for the successor. On the manufacturer's website, this product is listed under "End of Life" - and I suspect that a successor is being worked on.
