    Good for home

    Tested/used during the 3 week holiday.

    It is easy to hold and texts are easy to read (can zoom in and out), which is what I expect from an e-reader.

    It lacks speakers/headphones, so you can't have the books read to     you.

    The hardware and software are stable and do not cause any problems.
    Backlight works well.

    The back cover snap-in straps are all broken like sand except for the top and bottom. I have to glue them back together with superglue. This is clearly a construction fault, the straps are only maybe 0.5 mm thin. Otherwise like new and all working.

    The correct name is "Pocketbook Touch Lux 3 Ruby Red".
    Pocketbook Touch Lux 3 is 20 g heavier

    • Backlight adjustable/switchable
    • Easy to use once you have settled in. It remembers every document where you were before.

    • SD card works well.

    Contra

    • Weak shell, must be careful when transporting.
    • Loudspeaker/headphones missing
    • Character set for foreign language must be installed by the user.

    It's just not about quality service

    Shortly after the end of the warranty (2 years), my Pocketbook gave up the ghost. A diagnosis was not even made after I sent it in - although this was offered to me by the support team. They finally offered to buy me a new one. I would get a 20% discount. So that I have to buy a new one in a good 2 years?
