    A fully-fledged security system with alarm system and great features!

    Piper is not just a surveillance camera, but can be flexibly expanded into a holistic home security system. We have just moved into our new house and would have paid several thousand francs for a fixed alarm system.

    The     Piper camera measures movements, noises, temperature (inside and outside), humidity and brightness.

    When it is armed, it notifies me via app about movements, loud noises or changes in temperature (e.g. in case of fire). The type of notification can be freely configured - SMS, push, email, phone call. You can also include neighbours, friends or relatives in the notifications as a "closest circle".

    The built-in 105db siren is very loud and guaranteed to scare away any burglar.

    Now the best part: Once you have the camera, you can expand it with numerous external sensors (e.g. from Foxx or Fibaro). There is a wide range here, from window and door sensors to water sensors that detect water leaks in unpleasant places (such as the washing machine). The sensors can be integrated into the app and individual rules can be set (e.g. notify me when the front door opens).

    So for a few hundred francs you have a complete security system with an alarm system!

    Would buy again. Easy setup and works well.

    Extremely happy with the product. Very simple to setup and works first time every-time.
    My only criticism is not about the camera, but about the Foxx door sensor that was proposed as an addition on the Digitec web site,     when buying the camera. I could not get the camera to recognise/find the sensor and after checking with Piper, they responded saying that they had not tested that particular sensor however in theory it should work, as it is a z-wave device. I've since returned the Foxx sensor to Digitec have now ordered the Fibaro sensor, which is supported ... now awaiting delivery ... hopefully this works and it is not an issue with the camera.
