    Previously ok, now with cloud compulsion

    Hue claims to be introducing the obligation to have a cloud account in order to make the system more secure. That's nonsense, of course: no system becomes more secure if you also put it on the internet. You don't need a cloud to switch lights on and off; if you want to do this on the move and don't have your own infrastructure, you should be able to do this voluntarily.

    Why have I waited so long?

    I first tried it out at home in the TV room and got absolutely brilliant moods for the background lighting. Then I used it in my wife's practice to set a colour mood in each room according to the patient's wishes. This is very well received.
    Many people have recommended the system to me, but I never bought it because it's not cheap. Now that I have it, I don't want anything else. Just install it and play with it for hours :-)
