    Great.

Gigantic ! (And I do not say that often 😈) Perfect and cheap finish to the Hue lamps family. For example, I put the sensor in the hallway and get light in the bathroom that turns off after def. minutes. Day and night can be defined to taste. Three rooms can be attached with any lamps and each lamp can be set individually. I really rave about it, but no one has paid me. Word of honour.

    Pro

    • Extremely good sensor
    • 3 rooms but any number of lamps in them
    • The remote idea - get up in the bedroom and theoretically the whole cottage is bright.
    • Acceptable price

    Contra

    • Lamp burning time cannot be set individually for day and night

Everything is good and has many settings:
    - What should happen when triggering during the day (self-definable).
    - What should happen when the switch is triggered at night (user-definable)?
    - What happens after the switch
has been actuated (example: light off again after X minutes.)

    What is missing with current:
    - Define day and night at the current position of the sun
    - I would like to define per weekday whether the light goes on.

This often leads to unwanted situations, sneaking out of the room to bring coffee to the sweetheart in bed doesn't work without a lightshow. But hey, if you need a good excuse not to bring coffee, here's your chance.

    Pro

    • Many options
    • Easy integration into Home Assistant

    Contra

    • Schedules cannot be defined per weekday

Recommended, especially if you use a better Hue app (e.g. all4hue).

The motion detector does what it is supposed to do. In the Philips Hue app, however, only the suggested night light that reacts to movement can be set up.
If you use another Hue app (I use all4hue: but programming it is
not quite trivial), you can also make good use of the other functions of the motion detector, e.g. the light sensor as a twilight switch to switch the light on in the evening or off in the morning. Furthermore, it also has a temperature sensor that could be used. However, I have not yet found a use for it in connection with the lamps.

    Pro

    • works perfectly
    • Set up via Philips Hue app without any problems and simple
    • Mounting with screw and/or magnet as well as swivel base offers many possibilities

    Contra

    • the official Philips Hue app cannot fully utilise the sensor
