    Crappy quality on so many levels

    I bought several CHF 1000's worth of their LED strips to put it all around 5 apartments. I thought to choose for a respected brand and not go for Aliexpress type of stuff. Well, this was a mistake. I regret going down this path in so many ways.

    I bought the MaxLED 1000 warm white. 8 Starter packs, countless of extensions and connectors and accessoires.

    * Several of my strips turn out to be white white, not warm white (correct package, wrong contents)
    * They claim to be dimmable, but you cannot put them on a dim-switch with the travos that are shipped with it. Meaning, I had to buy all new travos. So if you want to dim, you can only do it with these flimsy remotes that look and work like shit - which you can only buy from Paulmann. You can't have them on your wall switches.
    * The units to connect cut open strips to each other simply do not work. I keep on having connection errors (and I do not have 2 left hands).
    * Sometimes I receive strips with silicon covers, sometimes without. Just very random.
    * The travos are actually not strong enough according to basic electronic, but just about.
    * Customer service doesn't reply

    In short, the most professional part of this product is the packaging and marketing.
    All what is in the box, is cheap Chinese stuff (nothing wrong cheap chinese stuff, but, you pay top $$$ for it via Paulmann)

    Contra

    • Random different colours (white vs warm)
    • Two type of strips (you never know what you get)
    • NOT dimmable without their remote control

    Suitable for the maxLed series

    It's 24V, be careful of the system you use.
