It's fun to watch series/TV with it. Top price-performance ratio.

Compared to the Sony/Android from my parents-in-law, I find the operation/navigation much better.
It's a pity that no Zattoo app runs on the Panasonic OS.
I haven't tried the TwinTuner, the recording function or the server
function yet. Very satisfied up to here.

Top as a TV screen, flop as a media centre

For all those who do not want to attach a hard disk and watch via a set-top box such as Swisscom, Cablecom or satellite, etc., this TV is worth recommending and has a top price/performance ratio.

    However, if you only watch
with a Digicard from UPC, you will have the following problem: the "Edit channel list" is not available. You have to create a favourites list, but this retains the original channel numbers and is therefore quite confusing.

Another problem is watching an encrypted channel while recording other channels (more on this in my post in the questions: click on answers).

    The subject of hard disks:

On port 1 (USB 3.0), all kinds of hard drives work for me. Be it for recording or just for playing back downloaded or own videos (but either or).

But on ports 2+3 (USB 2.0), the 2.5" disks, i.e. those without their own power connection, do not work. Maximum power consumption is 500 mA. My two disks (USB 2.0 + 3.0) consume more and therefore do not work. Everything else that has a USB connection works!

One function that I am also missing: Instead of recording, mark a programme so that the TV switches to this programme in time.

The guide is also very tedious if you have activated permanent recording for the purpose of timeshift: Each time you have to confirm that the timeshift recordings will be deleted. A "Do not show message again" function should be added here. This can be avoided by setting the Guide app to the freely assignable key (there should be more such keys). But this makes the Guide key useless.

Positive: I have never seen another TV where you can mount the feet in 4 different ways: a brilliant idea, for example, if you only have a narrow piece of furniture to stand on.

    Pro

    • Price/Performance
    • Incredibly many image settings possible
    • Feet can be mounted in 4 different positions. Wow!
    • Netflix button

    Contra

    • For a layman like me, there are just too many image settings possible.
    • In this day and age, not all hard drives work? a no-go!
    • Remote control: The Netflix, Home, Guide buttons are too close to the arrow keys
    • Only one freely assignable "My App" button
    • The Timeshift function should be copied from Samsung.
