    an asset

Heavy fixed focal length lens, aperture 1.2 makes photography possible 'without' light,. also makes great portrait photos.
85mm normal focal length limits use, but the quality is worth the money.

    Pro

    • Extremely bright
    • No distortion noticeable at open aperture

    Contra

    • heavy

Possibly the best M4/3 lens out there today

I purchased this lens to use with a Panasonic GX8.

The lens is phenomenal all-round. Construction (all metal), fabulous feel on manual focus, precise-clicking aperture dial, Optical Stabilization, very fast auto-focus.
Impressive image quality, excellent Bokeh. Well worth the money.

I have 2 full-frame Nikon DSLR's with some great top-quality lenses worth many times this camera / lens combination, yet the IQ on this lens /camera rivals that of the FF system, seriously.

    100% recommended !!!

    Pro

    • Excellent IQ
    • Well built
    • Fast Autofocus, in-lens stabilziation

    Contra

    • Maybe weight? but if You compare to FF, it's a very small price to pay
    • Price? but remember You're still getting 90% of a Leica Noctilux for 15% of the price !!
