purchased this productDigitisation of older audio documents
The unit can be operated under various operating systems, my experience is based on MacOS Monterey and the native audio software Quicktime (and 'Toast'). Transmission and external voltage distance appear to be flawless, subjectively judged.
Audio cassette: a careful recording from 1991 (pure metal tape, Dolby B), played back in 2022 from a just-running high-end device of the time, sounds as fresh digitised as it does today. (Tip: If it should become necessary to play formerly Dolbyed cassettes on a more modest device without equaliser, the app 'DDi' promises to make up for the dynamic treble reduction by software).
Records: Although there are current offers for high-quality players, I have a Technics unit that is also decades old with a magnetic sound cell on the 'preamp'. If good pressings from back then were stored correctly and are played back with an intact needle, the digital result is equivalent and quite pleasing to listen to.Pro
- inexpensive
- clean construction (externally assessed)
- Flawless functionality (judged by ear)
- Almost self-explanatory, but has a manual

purchased this productExcellent, simple and reliable product
Excellent device that allows me to record from my unamplified turntable while listening to the tracks on an amp in parallel.
The numerous settings allow to fine-tune the gain and the listening to obtain a nice result!
However, a small correction compared to the manual for the Line OUT output; the volume is well adjustable with the 3rd button and not just the headphone output at the front.Pro
- Numerous settings
- Line or phono input
- Sound via USB in both directions
- Unbeatable price for features and quality
Contra
- Slight plop when switching to Phono mode
