I LOVE THE SHRINES (sorry, can't put it any other way).

Short and sweet: In my opinion the best Zelda ever (!). If only for the reason that it's the biggest evolution since Ocarina of Time, which doesn't seem to be searched for, but is absolutely coherent in itself. The way the developers handled the integration of further dimensions (climbing), as well as the physics is really phenomenal. Puzzles are new not just "blow this up, move that", but go effectively physically in completely new directions.

I've only seen a fraction of the game so far, hardly any story content (which is very uncharacteristic for me) and I'm just absolutely blown away. Time and time again I find myself just thinking "ah, that looks interesting, I wonder what's there?". Sure, people say that about some games, Skyrim for example. But honestly - I had Skyrim in about 50 hours through, because it has animated me then just not sooo firmly to discover. A pity maybe, but that's just the way it is.

    Contra

    • Graphics in dock mode not quite as pretty on a big TV

Great game, worth buying a Switch just for this game alone.
