The improved 3D display is VERY well done....

The improved 3D display is VERY well done - you can now really move your head back and forth and the 3D image is always "steered" / aligned to the correct position. The small C-Stick is rather unnecessary as you hardly need it.
A 4GB MicroSD card is already present.
Games are good, just like the "old" 3DS.
It is a pity that there are no changeable covers for the XL.

    Pro

    • Top 3D System!
    • 4GB MicroSD already received

    Contra

    • No covers for XL

The more expensive version is worth it!

For me, it was very worthwhile to buy the most expensive version of the 3DS. I had the 2DS before, which also did its job well, but in a few respects it's really worth buying the New 3DS, both in comparison to the 2DS and the other 3DS models. As others have said, the new 3D function is very good compared to the old version. The A/B/X/Y buttons have a noticeable, pleasant click, these buttons give much less feedback on the 2DS and are rather soft and bland. The XL screen also makes a big difference to the gameplay and immediately makes every game better. The small button above the A/B/X/Y buttons is a welcome feature. This was one of the reasons I bought it, as it is supposed to be very useful in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. And I can only confirm that. The extra shoulder buttons haven't really come into use yet, but nice to have. For me, one of the best arguments in favour of the New 3DS XL was the stronger performance in demanding games. In MH4U, for example, the loading times are much shorter, which is very pleasant. I also think it's great that you can play the old DS games on this device as well. Even though there are usually long loading times associated with them. The bad points about this console are definitely Nintendo's eShop offer. But these are only small things. The eShop is not very easy to navigate and the range is not really wide outside of the big releases. Besides, there are a lot of small things that are offered at a high price, such as themes of Nintendo heroes. In the Virtual Console section I also hope for an expansion of the offer. What is great, however, is that there are themes and downloadable titles at all. Sometimes you can even get free themes, for example for big launches or anniversaries. A small negative point is the slightly rickety hinge. A pity for a device that is otherwise so perfect. I just ignore the camera.

    Pro

    • Successful upgrade of the 3D function
    • Click A/B/X/Y buttons and control pad
    • Large screen
    • Small control button is useful
    • Strong performance
    • You can play old DS games with it

    Contra

    • eShop is more
    • The hinge is really a bit rickety
    • The camera doesn't really need it, I've never used it before
