The best outdoor camera in my opinion, as long as you have an outdoor outlet.

For about half a year I have two of them in use - one in the garage (was purchased primarily to be alerted when the cat has once again locked himself in the garage) and one in the garden to keep an eye on the kids.

I've tried several products (Arlo, etc.) and none of them even come close to the Nest Cam Outdoor.
The picture is flawless, the camera works flawlessly in wind and weather, the person detection (but requires a subscription) works perfectly and prevents persistent alarms every time a shadow is cast or a cat walks by, the stream has virtually zero latency and the saved recordings allow you to go through quickly and without waiting or jerking.

Not cheap, but not significantly more expensive than the competition (eg Netatmo Presence - by the way, also a good product), Logo Circle 2, etc.. Full recommendation from me.

At most, you have to be careful if you want to install the power supply indoors and intends to drill through the wall - the plug has a stately diameter. I have connected the whole thing in a waterproof box.

Would buy again

Good camera, easy to install and use. Not overlooked that it only supports 2.4ghz wifi.
