This is how a MIDI controller must be.

I bought the KK S61 about 2 years ago. Since I mainly play piano instruments, the light weighting of the S61 did not really satisfy me.

This is now completely (!) different with the KK S88. The weighting of the keyboard and the hammer action is not exactly like an acoustic grand piano, but it is still very precise to play. I think I've made a lot of progress with it.

As with the S61, the workmanship and design are very good. I am also satisfied with the new display in the MK2 series. Everything necessary is there and neatly presented. It seems as if Native really put some thought into every detail of the design. The thing has a few edges, but it's simply useful.

A product that doesn't put itself in the foreground. It's just there and intuitive to use and play. The price is high, but it's worth it. more

The perfect MIDI controller

I have been looking for a good controller with an attractive keyboard for some time. I am not a pianist, but I have become used to a weighted keyboard over many years. I have tried a few "semi-weighted" (and what they are all called) controllers, but the feeling is just not the same. The S88 Mk2 meets this requirement with flying colours. It is great fun to play on it. The controller can be connected without any problems and also integrated into the DAW (in my case Cubase 12), and in addition to transport control, it also makes it possible to control channel level and panning, among other things. That's Plug & Play. The product costs a little more, but it's absolutely worth it. For me, the perfect controller for songwriters and producers. more
