I bought this radio on 11.03.21 at the same price with delivery at the end of March. The next day the price had risen to 291.-, I thought I was lucky to buy before the prices went up, but at the end of the month I get an SMS saying that the delivery would be 8 days later and after 8 days I get another SMS that would arrive in 10 more days and 10 days later I get another SMS with a new delivery date but now for October.
Galaxus said it was not their problem but the supplier's, but the invoice does not say the name of the supplier. They offered me to buy something else or cancel the purchase.
and now I still see this product and at the same price 168 instead of 291.
it's just a trick. be careful.

I initially wanted to buy the Kenwood because of the supposedly good voice quality, but the lack of a display and the non-existent USB port stopped me.
The display is important because you can set most functions directly without external software or a PC.
USB is important because you can charge the device several times with a USB battery out in the field, i.e. without a power socket.
Unfortunately, no new identity can be generated without external software, and the cryptography setting cannot be changed via the display.
The part feels very high-quality.
The display could be a bit bigger - it's easy to get lost in the many sub-menus.
Unfortunately, as with all PMR446 devices, the antenna is not removable - you are cheekily patronised here.
There is even a rec voice recording function.
Many PMR446 radios pretend to encrypt, but this usually means only the group identification, which means that such radios are not tap-proof.
For technical reasons, cryptography only works in digital mode.
The problem with the professional PMR446 devices is, as usual, that the PC-USB adapter and the software are outrageously expensive or not available at all for private individuals. But this is not only the case at Motorola - it is almost like a mafia.
The average consumer is probably a bit overwhelmed with the device.
A reviewer on YouTube complained about the voice quality in digital mode - but I can't confirm that.
Neither analogue nor digital sound like FLAC, but this is due to the very limited bandwidth of PMR446.
It is possible, however, that the Kenwood voice vocoder sounds somewhat better in digital mode - this would have to be tested.
