An absolutely brilliant device for all creative people (and those who want to be)
The only downside is the hybrid combination of HDD and SSD. If you're used to the lightning-fast performance of good PCs with an SSD and want to use that power (doing multiple things at once), you won't be happy with this.
It is possible to separate the SSD and HDD (you need to download and install the Intel RST driver: downloadcenter.intel.com/product/55005) then you have the SSD and HDD as separate drives. (ATTENTION: The hybrid configuration can't be restored on the i7 model as before because the driver only supports 64gb i.e. it only works with limited memory). I have not tried everything and can not guarantee you that not something goes wrong.
Another (negative) point is the volume of the device. Under load it is impressively quiet but in idle the fans are running all the time. If you're used to nice quiet PCs or laptops this can be a bit annoying. But it is not overly loud.
Unfortunately, the Surface Studio doesn't have enough power to supply power-hungry USB devices (Blu-Ray player + external hard drive at the same time) under full load. I had to get a USB hub with extra power supply (is recommended anyway because you only have 4 ports and they are all on the back).
Otherwise a great device

A really successful part that also makes a good figure when you are not using it. Class processed. Clearly high-priced, but compared to other brands in the segment clearly ahead, because only look nice was just yesterday. Bye Apple...
