I was looking for a universal tripod that was not too heavy but not a travel tripod. So I can live with the fact that the legs cannot be folded down. A comparable Gitzo tripod (from the same company as Manfrotto, by the way) would have cost twice as much. It wasn't worth it to me. Besides, Manfrotto has the patented folding centre column. It works amazingly well. By the way, the red part is made of metal and not plastic. The weight is ok to always have the tripod with you. A head with a base plate diameter of about 55 mm fits perfectly. Of course, smaller or larger heads can also be mounted. The 190 Go will actually support any reasonably normal camera and lens combination. You just have to mount an appropriately stable head.

For my needs, hobby photographer, very good tripod. Lightweight, easy to use and very stable. I use the tripod for a Canon 70D with Canon 100-400mm and am very satisfied.

Super tripod with a good price-performance ratio. Well made and very handy. Very deep shots possible due to the 90 degree foldable centre column.
