Good quality micro USB cables have barbs that keep them from falling out. This one doesn't. After it fell out of my mounted camera a few times, I gave up on it. Since it was fairly cheap, I'm not too steamed about it - but check the picture for a comparison between a plug with really good barbs (black, in front) and this thing (grey-orange, in back)!

The snap that should hold the micro plug in a socket is extremely weak. The cable slips out of the sockets extremely easily (even without pulling).
It is not suitable for charging. Either you have to weigh down the cable and mobile phone with a book each, or you have more than a 50% chance that the mobile phone will not charge. No other of my many micro cables holds so poorly in the sockets.
