I bought a Thinkpad E580 a few months ago. Also a 15-inch model with the same keyboard. The matte black makes every speck of dust stand out. And the trackpad looks a bit "greasy". But these are externalities. Otherwise a great device, although this E15 does have a special sound system. This does not allow for disco sound, but it is a clear improvement in quality compared to the E580.
Speed-wise, the E15 is also flawless. Less than 30 seconds to boot up. Even less for the drive. The only annoying thing is the pre-installed tools like virus scanners and games (apps). They are quickly gone. Then add several Windows updates and the device is ready for use. The E15 also has a finger sensor for unlocking, but this was not tested because it was not used.
Unfortunately, the Home and End keys are not really in a sensible place. And the AltGr key takes some getting used to, which is why you sometimes accidentally hit the PrintScree key.Pro

Pleasant device for versatile office and school use. Powerful, slim, sufficient connections. Case exteriors are somewhat prone to scratches.
