I bought "the thing" in February for 112.-CHF to digitise records, but I have now disposed of it after I wanted to give it a second chance today. Unfortunately, "the thing" is not defective, but simply a complete cheap commodity and not good for anything. Not even a freshly unpacked record runs without either jumping or getting stuck. Not even the empty groove survives the much too light tonearm. And with records from the 80s it's hell.... Too bad about the money :-(
According to Lenco's website, "consideration is given to the recyclability of the products at the end of their life cycle". I totally agree with them: with so much plastic, waste separation is a piece of cake.Pro

I connected the record player to my modern Denon receiver with a phono connection using chinch cables and set the receiver to phono. Only a muffled sound comes out of the speakers. I sent the record player back to Galaxus.
