    The fastest external SSD in my stable ;-)

    For an upgrade of my notebook, I moved the old SSD into the Icy Box.
    The box gets more out of the SSD than it could ever do in the notebook. However, it needs additional cooling when copying 300 giga data, otherwise the electronics     of the SSD will regulate the performance down.

    Problems that are not obvious.

    The IcyBox is indeed compatible as Digitec had so wonderfully declared for: 2260, 2242, 2230 and 2280 but they have probably forgotten to mention in the description that this is only for the M-Key Factor but not for B key or B+M Keys so I now have a replacement product for well, currently no idea.
    The device is not compatible or recognised for a Samsung 860 Evo Sata M.2 form factor B+M 2280, for example.

    almost as expected

    Not compatible with my Crucial MX500 M.2 sata SSD, but I managed to use the appropriate part of another box of the same width. finally, it works.
    I can't join a picture even though they're in .jpg (or .png) format
