    Practical frame with fan - Probably the strangest defects in the world

    About half a year after the warranty expired, the part started to cause problems: When files were moved / copied from an internal or external source to the HDD in the ICY BOX, the transfer speed collapsed after two thirds, the graphics driver (!) crashed, the digital audio out (SPDIF) showed malfunctions and the PC could almost no longer be operated. At first it doesn't sound like a problem with the ICY BOX - but funnily enough the problem disappeared when the removable HDDs were installed normally (and deactivating / uninstalling the graphics driver or safe mode didn't help either). Whatever the reason - it is very annoying.

    HotSwap works well with my board, solid ...

    HotSwap works well with my board, solid workmanship, HDDs are easy to change. Shortcoming: The bearing of the fan was already defective on delivery and it was even louder than the graphics card. Fortunately, a standard 2-pin 40mm fan is simply mounted, which could be easily replaced with item 157003.
