This little DOCKer is a ROCKer!

With Covid I'm home like a ROCK.
So I needed a station to DOCK.
    I've got two big SCREENS
    They're heavy and LEAN
But this i-Tec works like tick TOCK!

OK, I am not a very good poet, but I bought this little docking
station because I needed two HDMI ports. If you want one HDMI port you don't have to pay a lot of money. But if you want a docking station with TWO of them, the price really jumps up.

This docking station did exactly what I wanted it to do: I unpacked it, threw away all the documentation without even reading it, plugged in all my stuff, turned it on, and it just worked.

So I am very, very happy with it. Technology should just work - and this does.

I am truly a happy person with my new little friend on my desktop!

Great part. Would buy it again.

With this docking station you are ready for anything. Monitors can be closed via HDMI or DisplayPort. Power is supplied to the laptop. Convenient slots for USB and USB-C on the front.
As for the power supply, I first thought
that the part had a loose contact. However, you have to push the cable in with force until you notice that it snaps in.

    Serves the purpose

I have one the Lenovo X1 Extreme (Art.#: 10091468). Purchase date 03.2019. For home I bought this i-tec docking station (because a lot cheaper than the official from Lenovo itself).
With my MacBook Pro (2017) I have no problems,
but with the Lenovo X1 I have on the two connected 4k screens again and again a blurry picture totz latest drivers. A few seconds sharp, then again a few seconds blurry.

However, the question is whether it is the i-tec or the Lenovo (which performed actually not always particularly super). If it is the Lenovo, no deduction. If it is the i-Tec, it would be -3 (since this is really not usable with a Lenovo).

What I'm still missing are two classic eyelets/screw lugs, by means of which the part can be fixirt somewhere. In fact, two metric nuts are welded in (I think M2.5). For these, however, one has probably rarely just the right screws lying around at home. Had to order the extra, => +10.- (well not cheap two so tiny Schräuglein.

Design? mnjä, a designer piece is not exactly, I think. But it serves the purpose.
