    Works, but with initial difficulties.

    I used these RAMs for an iMac 27", 2017. After inserting the new RAMs, the iMac remained dark. Only when I swapped the slots with the original RAMs did it start up and also recognise the total 40GB RAM. Strange thing. I have already upgraded various iMacs (including 2017s) and have never had such problems.

    Sensible upgrade for iMac 2017

    I bought four of these RAM modules for my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017; Core i7 with 4.2 GHz, macOS Mojave). The maximum configuration with 64 GB RAM works smoothly.
