Unreliable
I backed this dock on Kickstarter and received it at the beginning of 2017. It worked perfectly for a few weeks, but then the problems started: loose contact in several places, until finally the SD slot and a USB-C slot no longer worked. In the meantime, I have received two replacement devices from the manufacturer, but after a few weeks, the problems start all over again, even with the replacement device. Absolutely subterranean product quality.

This Thunderbolt 3 hub is very practical and solves the biggest flaw of the MacBook Pro 13/15" Late 2016 & 2017. Its design is sober and goes hand in hand with the latest laptops of the brand. It has a total of 7 ports, the most important of which are the HDMI, the SD card reader and of course the two USB Type A ports. The first USB Type C port is also used for charging the computer.
Unfortunately, this hub also has several small flaws. The first of these is the "Space Grey" colour, which doesn't quite match that of the MacBook Pro. Secondly, the device is slightly fragile at the end. Indeed, when using the last two ports (USB Type A), the hub has a tendency to droop, as it is only held at one side and does not touch the table (it is flat).
But it's still a very nice hub, which does its job and the LED on the front gives a little high-tech touch.Pro
