The best phone I've had so far - by far -> previously P9, G4, G3... and many more ;)
Attention unfortunately the case you see in the official unboxing video is NOT included.

After 2 years with the Huawei P8, now switched to the Huawei P10. Before that, various Samsung+Xiaomi phones. I was already extremely satisfied with the P8 and only switched to the P10 because of the contract extension. I have always taken care of the P8 with a case and protective glass and it still works perfectly without any quirks, which is why I continue to use a Huawei. Previously, with the Samsung S2+S3, I had various problems with spontaneous restarts, overheating, weakening battery, which you just know/knew from Samsung. Xiaomi MI2S and Note 2 were OK, but updates etc were always a tinkering because the brand is not officially intended for Europe, and the cameras were average.
Regarding the P10; I always assumed that such a fingerprint sensor was an unnecessary gimmick - but I would never give it away again. The sensor installed here works so quickly and accurately that the P8 now seems a bit outdated to me. (Swipe, enter pin, unlock). The Type-C connection with the fast charging function is also really great. The on-screen buttons can now be replaced by the fingerprint sensor (gestures), which I find TOP. I got used to it within half a day. An app drawer can also be activated now - if desired. The selfie cam uses the display as a flash when there is too little light, and that works surprisingly well. After just one weekend with the P10, I am completely convinced and the current price of under CHF 600 guarantees a price/performance ratio that is completely satisfactory.

The P10 comes across as a bit boring and is a bit too much of an iPhone copy in terms of design for my taste.
But it is def. a very good phone of high quality. The battery life is not overwhelming... although with the
with the right settings in the software. But at the end of the day I rarely have more than 25% left - but it's also a hungry hardware... Performance vs. runtime! Otherwise, there is not much innovation.
Good Dualcam (btw, the HTC M8 2014 already had it) with solid functions
and a clean image quality for a smartphone really good. But there too - it's evolution instead of revolution.
Really nice: the super fast fingerprint sensor! It doesn't get any faster than that...
Good one-hand operation size for normal-sized men's hands. Rubber cover is mandatory, otherwise very slippery.
Quickcharge works great for me.
Let's see how long the whole thing lasts and whether all 2:1 bezel-less screens will prevail or whether such more classic phones as the P10 will be a revival.
phones like the P10 will experience a revival when everyone complains that bezel-less phones are (at least) suboptimal in one-handed use.
are very suboptimal...
Addendum after almost 3 months of use: Unfortunately, the camera has its first problems - it no longer focuses in the right half of the picture. In other words, the autofocus is starting to go haywire. In addition, the device has activated or unlocked itself several times in my pocket... however that works!?!? My old phones had this under control for 10 years. Furthermore, the fingerprint sensor is already weakening. It is def. no longer as fast and does not read as cleanly - despite multiple professional cleanings. It also seems to me that the whole device is already in a bit of a software state. Without me having made any major changes (nothing except a few apps installed).
Conclusion after 3 months: somewhat disappointing for a flagship from Huwei!
