    Expensive, but meets my expectations

The set up or setup requires its time (1-2h), but is simple, well and entertaining explained.

What I noticed right away on the first start is this fly screen effect and the God-Rays, which are often described. However, it's
not distracting - I didn't notice it after 1-2 minutes. The lenses become a bit blurry towards the outside. So it's better to turn your head than your eyes. This could be solved a little better.

The resolution is ok. From my point of view, however, this should not be lower.

The wearing comfort is great, even over several hours. Nothing presses - not even the headphones, which you can adjust very well. I find the sound quality good, but I'm only used to office headsets. I never got sick or dizzy. You notice the cable on the headset every now and then, but I was able to handle it well. In any major gymnastics but it would probably be impractical and I would rather go to the wireless operation (optional).

The eye tracking I could not yet test, because it is not yet supported in VRChat. But in other games it is partly already integrated.

Fantastic are the controllers, which are absolutely precise and work in my room in every position. It works so well that I still want to expand it to the full body set. Only the battery life should be a little longer (lasts about 4 hours). For my hands, they are also a bit too big.

With the two small base stations that communicate wirelessly (only outlet needed), I miss a button to turn off. But that can be solved with a power strip with switch. The stations stand with me on the window sill or on a photo tripod. There is a lot of flexibility in the placement options and I think you can integrate the stations into a room quite unobtrusively, as long as the black cable can be covered somewhat.

Expensive for an option not used by games to date

Nothing like the pros in the field like HTC or Oculus. Very pleasant headset to wear for hours on end. Quick and easy setup system. Reliable transmission of controllers and headset. The "TrackEyes" system is very good but no game uses it yet. Too bad the small 110° focal length takes away from the immersion. The Oculus controllers are much better. The lenses are not bad but not yet at the top. When the contrast is strong (white under black) the reflections are quite apparent on the lenses.

    Pro

    • System of fixation and adjustment of the head at the top
    • Good lenses but there is better.
    • Headphones directly integrated
    • Nice weight when the headset is well adjusted
    • All-in-one cabling very appreciated

    Contra

    • 2.0 sound system... 5.1 would have been a minimum
    • Price a bit expensive for a technology not yet exploited by games
    • Lens not yet up to scratch
    • 110° focal length...
    • 4K screen not yet sufficient for a nice image
    • Controllers too big (long)
