not SLI-capable, but top GPU - big, heavy, but great design

I bought this PC because I wanted the 1080 Ti and my previous computer was not upgradeable. A price comparison between DIY with comparable parts and this one showed that it wouldn't have been worth it to assemble a PC myself.
    The
device offers more than enough USB ports, many of which are USB 3.0. Two USB-C ports can be found on the front (unfortunately none on the back). There are also two easily accessible bays for 3.5" drives (2.5" either with an adapter or carefully plugged into the connectors - I was able to find a use for two older 2.5" HDDs). Inside, another 3.5" bay is available.
The computer can be opened very easily via a click mechanism. The RAM connectors are all occupied. A PCIe x16 slot is available. However, this cannot be occupied by a GTX 1080 Ti because of the power supply. According to my experience with video games, however, SLI does not increase performance: I previously had an MSI with a slightly slower processor, the same RAM and 2x GTX 980 in SLI, and this computer with 1080 Ti manages more FPS at maximum graphics settings (no benchmark, but personal observations during gaming). So if you really need SLI or a second graphics card: Hands off. Otherwise, the 1080 Ti does a good job. About the graphics performance: e.g. Prey was spat out on the highest settings with 3440x1880 pixels at 90+ FPS.
The computer is very large and also heavy. Unfortunately, the colour of the interior lighting and logo lighting at the front cannot be changed, only switched off by unplugging the cable inside.
Absolutely moronic: A mouse and keyboard (both with cable) actually come with the device. Personally, I find this rather pointless - users who buy something like this will most likely have a decent (gamer) keyboard/mouse. HP could save itself the trouble.

First-class performance at a reasonable price.

I bought this PC as a VR station with HTC Vive. Absolutely fluid graphics even with demanding VR games.

If you can afford it this Omen is a top choice

This PC is a beast. Damn fast, quiet, looks good for my taste and fits perfectly into my gaming setup with the red lighting. I don't need to write anything about the Nvidia 1080ti, because most of you surely know what this graphics card is capable of. I am very satisfied and have...hopefully...a reliable device for the next few years. It's expensive but well, I have 2 left hands and can't/won't build a PC myself. If you feel the same way, this device is more than worth considering.
