    environmentally friendly alternative that is faster than a laser printer!

    Impressive speed, relatively quiet (there is an additional "quiet print mode" for the office!) and no fine particle generation like laser printers have seduced me to order this printer.

    Important: When unpacking the printer,     do NOT insert the cartridges before the insertion message appears - otherwise you will have problems calibrating!

    Goes like this

    As a pure work printer, this printer can definitely be recommended. The Pagewide technology makes this printer just as fast as a comparable laser printer. If you want to print a picture or a graphic then the quality is unfortunately not as good as a laser or normal inkjet printer due to the speed. It has slight ripples despite high quality inkjet paper when printing large areas. However, it cannot print on transparencies. The volume is extremely loud during operation. I miss a DeepL access to the scan function from the PC. Unfortunately, everything goes through an installed HP toolbox that first retrieves data from the printer at each startup, which takes 15 seconds. Here you have to go to the scan tab and then start the scan app. Starting the HP Scan App takes another 5 seconds. Here, the operation directly on the printer is much faster and more comfortable. The scanner's paper feed was slightly skewed.

    Very suitable for the office

    The firmware is still pretty buggy - but otherwise the PageWide disproves all prejudices against inkjet printers. It's perfect for the office, doesn't stink like a laser and prints very quickly. It is less strong for photos. On the software side, it is very well implemented on the Mac.
