does what it should for little money

There is not much to say.
The filter can be screwed on well and then turned. It doesn't turn by itself (so it's good). Little money for good quality. Nice...

    High quality standard, effective, affordable

The Hoya POL series convinces me all along the line.
I have a POL filter on all my lenses.
This one doesn't take too much light, but has the advantage,
but it has the advantage of getting a bit more contrast out of the
    contrast
out of the photos in the sunshine and you can
on non-metallic surfaces such as glass.
Since these filters are thin enough, they can be used on wide-angle
on wide-angle lenses without the risk of edge shading.
use. Price / performance is really top here!

Tip: If you want to photograph a rainbow, you have to be careful with the
POL filter. This can filter out the rainbow
or attenuate it, depending on the position.
Therefore, you should always know exactly in which position the POL
filter is in. When the camera is turned from landscape to portrait
you have to know that depending on the photo subject, the POL filter changes its
    changes its effect.

I think it is important to clean the filter and the front glass of the
lens well before attaching them, that you have both clean
clean and as far as possible in a dust-free environment.
dust-free environment. The really good thing about filter glass is
is that there are very few environmental deposits on it.
So cleaning is almost a minor matter.
Usually a photo brush is enough, or you can breathe on the glass and clean it
and clean it with a microfibre cloth.
If that is not enough, you should take a look at this cleaning set:
