Very good smartphone at a small price!

Very good smartphone at a small price!
In my opinion, the fingerprint sensor is reliable and sufficiently fast, despite negative reports. The camera takes good photos, but pictures taken with the AI function sometimes look
a bit exaggerated (fortunately, the function can be deactivated for each photo individually afterwards). The performance is also good and graphically demanding games run smoothly on the screen, but the phone quickly gets a little warm in the camera area.

I can't imagine what more a phone should offer.

I was previously a Nexus 5X user and was looking for an affordable alternative and ended up with the Honor 10. I only didn't buy it at Digitec because it wasn't in stock at the time.
Compared to the Nexus 5X, the Honor 10
is blazingly fast and runs very stable. The camera is good, the AI often messes up, but can always be removed, so it's a nice gimmick. The Aperture function (Bokeh) is amazingly good, and above all fast, HDR also works perfectly. For me, however, the camera is just a gimmick and not my main camera.
I can't understand why the software is criticised in the forums. I found everything on the first try, and I don't usually hang around in the menus for fun. The picture quality is very good, the 4G and WLAN connectivity is very fast. I haven't used the fingerprint scanner yet, but face recognition works too well.
When I look at what I get for 450 francs, I seriously ask myself what more a Samsung or iPhone can offer me for twice the price. Sure, I'm not the phone fetishist, but I wouldn't call myself a noob either. I'm pretty sure I can keep the Honor for 2 to 3 years like all my phones.
The way I use the phone, the battery lasts at least 48 hours, sometimes even 72 hours on weekends (no charging from Thursday night to Sunday night). But I am also a family man and no longer on the slopes... :-)
The only thing that is annoying is the ultra-slick surface. It's really amazing how quickly it can slide off somewhere, I sometimes even had the feeling it was actively moving :-). I have now got the thin, transparent cover. It's a bit bigger and the buttons are a bit heavier, but all in all it's an almost perfect solution for 450 francs.
