Exactly as described. I bought this to replace the very thin speaker wires provided with an Onkyo AV amp. Perhaps overkill but I wanted white cables that would blend into our white walls and ceiling - hopefully also improving the sound quality even if only slightly.
Pro
- Subtle grey marking on negative wire is discrete but enables connection with correct polarity
- I found it easy to strip the insulation without cutting tge copper wires
- 2.5mm is thick enough to be fairly stiff helping to fix to the walls and ceiling
- White colour blends well with "brilliant white" painted walls
- 1.5mm would have been more than sufficient but for only a few extra chf I get a stiffer cable

Top price / performance ratio!
Of course there are better (and especially more expensive) cables, this one is made of copper-clad aluminium (CCA), but in my opinion it is qualitatively perfect for connecting smaller to medium-sized speakers.
Cables made of CCA can be manufactured and offered at a lower cost compared to pure copper cables, since aluminum is available at a lower price than copper. The factor to pure copper cables is about 1.6; a copper cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is therefore electrically equivalent to a CCA cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² as offered here.
Audiophiles report that pure copper cables sound better to their ears, but I can't hear any difference.Pro

- easy to install, perfect for fixed installations of surround speakers
- white cables are easier to conceal in joints and on walls
- CCA - copper clad aluminium
Contra
- CCA - copper clad aluminium - the audiophiles among us will certainly consider this a disadvantage.
