    Good, but 5-pin switches unfortunately do not fit in it

    Actually meets my expectations, except for one point: It only fits switches that are intended exclusively for plate-mount (3-pin), switches that are also intended for PCB-mount (5-pin) unfortunately do not fit, because the PCB does not have the necessary holes.

    Which is even more annoying, because the manual explicitly says "Zealio switches work, too", but Zealios are only available in the 5-pin version and I would have to cut off the two plastic legs on all switches and can't solder them in a PCB-mount keyboard afterwards.

    Especially with a keyboard, which is ideal from the standard TKL layout and price as a test bed to try out new switches, this is actually a severe limitation of use.

    The first round and these lines were written on the GMMK TKL with Kailh Box Jade switches and TEX ADA keycaps.     

    Pro

    • Really without switches and keycaps, i.e. for self assembly.
    • Hotswap.
    • 90⁰-angle for the micro USB socket included, but only works to the right.
    • Keycap puller with fixed place on the bottom of the case.
    • Switch-puller included, but loose and without a fixed place on the case.
    • The wrapped USB cable is detachable.
    • USB socket is flush with the case, i.e. you are not limited in the size of the plug.
    • Surprisingly heavy despite the rather flat case → does not slide around.
    • No manufacturer logo on the top.

    Contra

    • 5-pin switches do not fit in
    • Even with the feet up, a rather flat keyboard
    • The silver edge is very reflective, which can be annoying with regard to the hard disk LEDs.
    • Only the plate is made of metal, the bottom part is plastic.
    • CAPS-LOCK-LED doesn't change color with the key illumination but is always red
    • More than the 8 standard colors apparently only programmable with proprietary windows-only software
