Use the device now over a year. The battery lasts for about 4-5 workouts with the bike. With navigation I can easily drive a day trip of about 8 hours.

Have only tested it twice. So far I am fully satisfied. The display is readable even in strong sunlight without problems. Have it synchronized with Komoot. Works flawlessly. The routing I still have to test. The display options of, for example, current altitude, driven altitude meters, slope percentage, pulse display, calories burned, speed, kilometers driven, riding time, clock, battery charge status of the e-bike, etc. are already cool! I would buy it again immediately. The price is also ok. You also get a lot for it.

Bought this edge 830 to replace my 520+. This one is a lot faster in multiple ways: starting up, navigating the menus, navigation and post processing. It also has fitness metrics and training load, which (when using physio true-up) also syncs with compatible garmin watches (I use forerunner 945, but also Fenix 6 is compatible). Furthermore, it has a lot more battery life than the 520+ and I like the climb pro feature, where it tells you where you are on a climb, how steep it is and how much you still have to go (in distance and altitude meters).
The touch screen is convenient for navigating the menus, but when used with dirty fingers, of course also gets dirty.
