    The paperless office has arrived!

    Transformed my office into a paperless office with this excellent value for money scanner.
    - searchable PDF can be saved directly and with Copernic Desktop Search
    or similar programme, everything is continuously indexed.     Thus free text search over everything
    what is scanned
    - Blank pages can be skipped
    - Fast duplex operation, no more paper change or turning over necessary
    - good software is included with regular updates
    - fast (25 pages per minute) and quiet
    - does not take up much space
    - for office use with a lot of text, for graphic artists with photo scanning a high-resolution photo scanner is needed

    - rollers for paper transport in the middle, a dog-ear does not slow down the scanner
    - approx. 1 year in operation, wouldn't want to miss it any more
    - Full purchase recommendation

    It works really well both on cable and on Wifi con...

    It works really well both on cable and on Wifi connection; it's fast the scanned image quality is pretty good.
    The support software recognizes rotated documents and straightens them and the OCR for indexing the docs works     pretty well.
    The wifi scan function requires a software running on your PC, it's not able to save documents to a shared folder over wifi.
    Too bad that there is no software support for linux so the wifi scan it's not an option there.

    Would buy the scanner again. Fully meets my requirements.

    • Precise feeding (also reads thin receipts)
    • Software with useful functions in a bundle
    • Very compact device. Well finished
