    Absolute buy recommendation

I would like to make something very important clear here.

There are 2 versions of these switches. The version sold in specialist shops, which can be bought here at digitec or other specialist dealers and the professional
version, which is reserved for electricians. The version sold by digitec does NOT include mounting material for flush boxes. These are only intended as AP switches, which can be glued to the wall. For flush mount installations please contact your electrician and get them through him. Feller clearly states that the professional switches are also installed by professionals in a flush-mounted box, since there are usually also power cables are pulled and laymen should not tinker with power installations.

In my house, the switches work perfectly and I have already installed 8 switches and control almost 50 Hue lamps. It just always depends on how far away the switch is from the Hue Bridge. The switches do not act as repeaters for the ZigBee signal. This works only with the bulbs.

In my pictures, by the way, the professional switches are shown.

    Pro

    • Runs flawlessly
    • Easy to configure
    • Simple implementation

    Contra

    • Loud click noise because of piezo technology
    • Switches build up a bit more than normal switches

No installation in existing flush-mounted boxes

Important notice. In this retail version, installation in an existing flush-mounted box is not possible, but only directly on the wall (glued or screwed to the wall).
For an installation in a flush-mounted box, special accessories
are required. E.g. the dummy cover (752.FMI.61). You need the springs and the frame which is mounted on the mounting plate. See photos.
But here again attention: The mounting plate must be turned 90 degrees, so that the eyelets are then vertical and the mounting frame is correctly positioned to insert the switch correctly. This works with single but not with double mounting plates.
Everything seems a little little thought out.

    Unreliable

I didn't want to believe Anonymous' assessment and ordered the button. After I had to press it several times, I counted: Out of 100 times I pressed the button, 21 did not arrive. That is a somewhat meagre yield. Sorry Galaxus. The switch is coming back.

    Pro

    • Design fits Edizio due
    • Can be glued to the wall without drilling a hole.

    Contra

    • Only works in 79% of cases
    • It is not possible to replace a conventional switch with it without further ado. Mounting material is missing.
    • The click sound is loud
    • Actuating power feels harder.
