very good gimbal for amateur and semi-pro video

very good gimbal of the same material as zhyun crane 2, not having the latter in hand I can't compare the small details, but at the time of purchase this one was cheaper

    Pro

    • essential for the video
    • product film fluidity
    • very practical forward lock button
    • if used regularly, price quickly pays for itself

    Contra

    • heavy tiring after a while with the weight of the camera hence the dual handle
    • the price if it remains reasonable is quite expensive for occasional use

    Good value for money

Simple and efficient. However, to connect a Juji, you need to be a handyman...

It is fun to work with the gimbal when the equipment used is rather lightweight. Two kilos max is definitely the end of the line.

The product photo somewhat pretentiously shows a professional camera from a well-known manufacturer including a professional lens. With this gimbal, you have to be aware of one thing: the device is simply not suitable for this combination, which weighs several kilos. It will collapse under the load.

I once tested the gimbal with an EOS 7DMK2 and a Sigma 24mm Art Object and - as expected - it went wrong. Even if you balance it perfectly, you don't stand a chance. You destroy the gimbal. Conversely, with a lighter combination, e.g. the 7DMK2 and a 40mm pancake, it works perfectly.

The videos I have made so far look good, the gimbal works extremely well. It's also really quiet and - when well balanced - doesn't jerk. A great thing, I can only recommend it. Definitely a tip for the price/performance ratio.

But you have to be aware of one limit. You are holding two kilos in one hand. In the long run, that puts a strain on your arm. If you want to use it all the time, you should consider a version with two handles - your arm muscles will thank you.

One negative thing I noticed was the charger for the included lithium batteries. It works via USB, but I have no confidence in this plastic thing. If you do a lot of work here, you should get a good charger right away. I would be too afraid to burn down the house if I used it every day.

    Pro

    • Price/Performance
    • Good workmanship, very quiet
    • Easy to operate, even if operating instructions are rather restrained

    Contra

    • Battery charger does not seem trustworthy to me
    • The camera and lens combination shown is definitely not suitable for the gimbal.
