    Price/performance good

There are worse enclosures. For 2U / 12 drive systems, this product is rather cheap. The backplane is good to very good. There are no sharp edges. The MB standoffs are a little large.
To change the fans, quite a few screws
have to be loosened - this could be done better - the manufacturer should not necessarily have saved the 5 CHF for fan hot-swap.

The drive slides belong to the category "bent, glued and screwed up". Plastic was glued to metal (not screwed), which means that the rather tight tolerances are not always adhered to (no reference through screw holes). That would be ok, but apparently the manufacturer then simply inserted some slides with a sledgehammer. Of course, this is possible, but then the alignment of the connections on the backplane is no longer correct if you actually want to insert a hard disk. The commissioning consisted partly of trial and error as to which slide would fit best, and in one case a glued-on piece of plastic fell off after a bit of force.

The accessory rails are just as stubborn and without force it didn't quite fit. But what doesn't fit will be made to fit.

All in all, not typical "server" quality like SuperMicro and the like, but for a home lab setup where multiple drives are needed, a pretty good deal.
The most important part (the backplane) still works perfectly even after several weeks of continuous operation and at least doesn't seem to be the biggest Chinese scrap, so you don't have to worry about your data - even if documentation would be nice.

The quality is not high, but the price is low - so price/performance is right.

    Pro

    • Backplane appears surprisingly high quality (many and good capacitors)
    • Inexpensive for 12 shafts

    Contra

    • Documentation almost non-existent
    • Everything seems bent (rack ears, drive bays, ...)
    • Standard cheap fan, no fan hot swap
    • PWM fan connections on backplane, but always on 100% duty cycle
  • InvicTech

Good server housing for "little" money

A few of the screw holes in the hard drive trays had to be ground down to prevent the plates from getting stuck.

    Pro

    • ATX Mainboard Support
    • Supports redundant power supply to the backplains with Molex

    Contra

    • ATX form factor for power supplies not supported
    • Fit and finish leaves much to be desired
