I don't normally write feedback, but I am so touched by this part (and the technology) that I just have to do it: We are an online shop that prints about 2000 pages a month, order forms, invoices, address labels, manuals etc.. Have had the supposedly cheapest laser printer so far, a Kyocera. Had to use original cartridges, the others printed badly, especially on labels. A toner series of all colours lasts about 2500 pages and costs 400 CHF. We had to buy more every month and a half, 3200 CHF a year just for toner.
We now have the Epscon Ecotank 16500, which prints 6000 pages with a set of original ink costing 55 CHF, giving us just under 300 CHF per year. That's a tenth of the cost, not even quite. The expensive purchase price is paid off in no time.
Print speed: Hardly noticeably slower than the colour laser. Starts up IMMEDIATELY with every job and thus saves a few seconds compared to the colour laser and is even a lot faster than the colour laser when printing many different pages (orders ...)!
Quality: There is a small disadvantage, especially in the intensity of the colours compared to the colour laser. For us and also a customer not disturbing, probably not noticed at all, if not specifically placed next to each other and compared.
Print trays: The standard version comes with 2 trays, which is an immense advantage; with the Kyocera we had to buy a special tray and ended up buying the printer for half the price of this Epson cost miracle.
Refilling cartridges: Easy as pie.
For me, a small sensation, because a lot of money can be saved.

There are probably so-called "Monday models", I definitely had one of these with the first delivery. The unit was delivered twice in a row with a software error (after repair at Epson), i.e. it could not be started up or put into operation. A new replacement takes about 4 weeks. That was the first excitement, but if you are accommodating, you can be forgiven somehow...
The new replacement device could then be put into operation and it was possible to print, scan and copy. However, the print quality in normal mode was worse than that of a 12-year-old Brothers Inkjet. That was disappointing, because one expects at least a technological upgrade in a decade. Another problem seems to be the constant soiling/drying out of the print heads. They have to be cleaned constantly (sometimes daily). Sometimes 4-5 times in a row to get anywhere near acceptable print quality.
Maybe the replacement device is another "Monday model", because I cannot confirm all the positive comments with my experience. (User: 1 person office, with text and image)
