This is now my second Epson beamer after the Epson EH-TW2900, before that I had two Panasonic beamers (I have been a beamer fan for many years). For me it's a big step, the light intensity has increased enormously, so I can now watch TV, films and play games without darkening the room. The volume is also brilliant, so I could remove the plexiglass in front of the beamer - I have the beamer with a ventilation system in a wall cupboard, I could now also switch off the ventilation system (PC fans). After about two hours, the fan gets minimally louder, perhaps a sign to turn your attention to something else ;-). You have to experiment a bit with the colours - for me, the colours were much too intense, but you can adjust them relatively easily.

I switched from a very cheap Epson entry-level device to this beamer and don't regret it at all. The device is used in a relatively bright living room and delivers a very good/bright image even through the day, much better than the previous device (1800 vs 3000lumen).
I also appreciate the lens shift, which was not available on the old unit.

The projector is really good, easy to install and set up, very bright and high-contrast image, enough HDMI connections for various signal sources....
